Mr. Friedman is an Associate at the firm’s Newark office, where he focuses on labor and employment litigation, advocating for the rights of both public and private sector unions as well as individual employees.

 

Before joining the firm, Mr. Friedman served as Corporate Counsel for the Arena Football League, where he gained extensive experience in labor and employment law. He negotiated collective bargaining agreements with the Players Union, represented the League in arbitration proceedings, managed labor and employment disputes, and provided strategic counsel on litigation and compliance matters.

 

Mr. Friedman also served as Counsel at Jazz at Lincoln Center, where he oversaw labor relations for five unions and regularly advised on employment issues. His work included long-term CBA negotiations, workplace investigations, and the resolution of employment-related disputes, offering him a comprehensive perspective from the management side. He now draws on that experience to represent employees and unions in litigation.
