Mr. Friedman is engaged in litigation, concentrating on representing labor organizations and their members, primarily in the public sector. Mr. Friedman represents individual employees and labor organizations in labor and employment related matters in state and federal court, both jury and non-jury trials, and administrative proceedings. He is counsel in dozens of published and unpublished court opinions in both state and federal courts. The cases he has handled involve a wide variety of employment issues, such as disability, equal pay, harassment and other discrimination matters. Mr. Friedman’s public sector cases involve employee tenure and seniority rights, discrimination, wrongful termination, pension benefits, and related matters. He is recognized as one of the leading attorneys in the state in education law.
