For over 30 years, Ed has concentrated his practice on the representation and counseling of labor unions, multiemployer benefit funds and individual employees in labor and employment law matters in state and federal court, grievance and discharge arbitration proceedings, and before the National Labor Relations Board. With an increasingly national practice, he has been a speaker at seminars and union membership meetings on a variety of topics, including collective bargaining agreement enforcement and administration, and grievance and arbitration procedures. He has been named a New Jersey Super Lawyer for 2026.
Ed previously served as Director of Law for the Township of Woodbridge, New Jersey's sixth largest municipality, and as a Deputy Attorney General with the New Jersey Department of Law & Public Safety, Division of Law, where he was engaged primarily in civil rights defense litigation. He was also a Member of the New Jersey Supreme Court’s Special Committee on Attorney Ethics and Admissions. His article, Standards of Judicial Review under the Federal Arbitration Act: A Primer, appeared in New Jersey Lawyer Magazine.
